Classification of steel fasteners

5. Brand (referring to the brand logo added by the manufacturer or distributor on the product, fill in the Chinese or foreign brand name according to the actual inspection status of the product)

Origin declaration requirements for carbon steel fasteners

According to the 'Announcement of the Ministry of Commerce on the Ruling on the Expiry Review of Anti-dumping Measures for Imported Carbon Steel Fasteners Originating in the European Union and the United Kingdom' (Ministry of Commerce Announcement No. 17, 2022), from June 29, 2022, the Anti-dumping duties will continue to be levied on imports of carbon steel fasteners from the EU and the UK for a period of five years.

Carbon steel fasteners subject to anti-dumping measures include wood screws, self-tapping screws, screws and bolts (whether or not with nuts or washers, but excluding screws for securing rails and screws and bolts with a rod diameter not exceeding 6 mm) and gaskets.Excludes stainless steel and fasteners used for civil aircraft maintenance and repair.

These products are classified as 7318.1200, 7318.1400, 7318.1510, 7318.1590, 7318.2100, 7318.2200, 9021.1000, 9021.2900.

When declaring the import of fasteners within the scope of the above-mentioned anti-dumping duties:

1. The country of origin should be declared truthfully and relevant evidence documents of the country of origin should be submitted. If it cannot be submitted, an explanation should be made.

2. If the country of origin is the European Union and the United Kingdom, the original manufacturer's invoice must also be provided.

3.
