Notice! From now on, the customs will adjust the tax numbers of 16 battery-related products.

General Administration of Customs Announcement No. 126 of 2026 (Announcement on the Announcement of the Customs Commodity Numbers Corresponding to Battery Products)

According to Announcement No. 20 of 2026 by the Ministry of Finance, the General Administration of Customs, and the State Administration of Taxation (Announcement on Adjusting Certain Battery Consumption Tax Policies), in order to effectively manage the collection and management of consumption tax at the import stage, the customs commodity numbers corresponding to the battery products involved in the above policy adjustments are now announced. See the attachment for details.

This announcement will be implemented from September 1, 2026. When importing and exporting battery products, they must be declared according to the customs commodity number listed in the appendix of this announcement.
