National Certification and Accreditation Administration Announcement No. 7 of 2026
The mandatory national standard GB 47372-2026 'Safety Technical Specifications for Mobile Power Sources' has been released and will be implemented on April 1, 2027 . In order to ensure the orderly implementation of compulsory product certification (CCC certification) such as mobile power supplies, the relevant requirements are now clarified as follows:
1. Add GB 47372-2026 as the basis for CCC certification of mobile power supplies, lithium-ion batteries and battery packs for mobile power supplies (see attachment for details).
2. Revise and publish the 'Compulsory Product Certification Implementation Rules for Mobile Power Sources, Lithium-Ion Batteries and Battery Packs (Trial)' (**CNCA-C09-02:2026, hereinafter referred to as the new version of the Implementation Rules).
3. From the date of this announcement to March 31, 2027, certification bodies can carry out CCC certification activities in accordance with the wishes of the certification client in accordance with the 'Compulsory Product Certification Implementation Rules for Mobile Power Sources, Lithium-ion Batteries and Battery Packs (Trial)' (CNCA-C09-02:2025, hereinafter referred to as the old version of the implementation rules) or the new version of the implementation rules; starting from April 1, 2027 , CCC certification activities should be carried out in accordance with the new version of the implementation rules.
4. Mobile power supplies, lithium-ion batteries and battery packs for mobile power supplies that have obtained CCC certification in accordance with the old version of the implementation rules should supplement the corresponding testing and inspection items in accordance with the requirements of the new version of the implementation rules before April 1, 2027 , and complete the certificate conversion in a timely manner; the certificate conversion of lithium-ion batteries and battery packs for portable electronic products shall be completed through natural transition methods such as product changes and expiration of certificates.

Announcement date (May 25, 2026) to March 31, 2027: The new and old versions of the certification rules will run in parallel, and implementation will be voluntary.
From April 1, 2027: The new national standard GB 47372-2026 will be officially implemented, the new version of the certification rules will be fully activated, and the old version of the rules will be discontinued. Older certificates that have not been converted will automatically become invalid.
All relevant enterprises, certification agencies, and testing agencies must strictly abide by this announcement and corresponding standards and implementation rules to carry out CCC certification, product testing, production control, etc. Relevant entities holding the old version of the CCC certificate should plan their time reasonably and complete the certificate conversion on schedule to ensure that the products are listed and circulated in compliance with regulations. Relevant market products must hold a valid CCC certificate that complies with the new rules and GB 47372-2026 standards from April 1, 2027.
