Establish a green channel for fresh agricultural products, implement '7×24' scheduled inspections, and implement conditional interest rate convenience measures to ensure that goods are inspected and released upon arrival, achieving a seamless connection from flight landing to customs acceptance and release, minimizing customs clearance time, and assisting the 'rush' listing of cherries.

The Pudong Airport Customs Material Control Division not only ensures the speed of customs clearance, but also strictly controls the safety of imported products. Before the start of the 'Cherry Season', targeted business training will be carried out to further improve the level and efficiency of on-site supervision. On-site customs officers conduct precise inspections based on inspection instructions, business instructions and risk assessments. Focus on verifying the compliance of goods certificates, registration information of orchard packaging plants, quarantine requirements of the protocol, etc.; carry out on-site inspection and quarantine to check for pests and diseases or rot and deterioration. Since the first batch of Chilean cherries arrived at Pudong Airport by air on October 17 this year, kicking off the 'cherry season', Pudong Airport Customs has imported a total of more than 1,300 tons of Chilean cherries, an increase of 127% over the same period last year.

The first batch of Chilean cherries arriving in Shanghai by air are the new variety AG2. It is understood that this variety does not have an official commercial name yet, and AG2 is the internal code name.
